Field of Weeds began in 2011 as a multimedia project, a bimonthly essay/podcast with video shorts that directly followed The Zen Revolution, also a podcast series. It was my attempt to circumvent the impossible task of acquiring a literary agent. I’ve since spent a great deal of time developing a scifi screenplay, which morphed into the novel Another End of the World, and Some Other Burning, an autobiographical novel. These remain in development, though I’ve recently switched focus to bringing a literary quality to short films.
